This is a great question. I have said time and time again, if you can't tell me why you should be president I'm not interested in hearing why the other guy shouldnt be. Why would pay good money for an ad that people are just going to turn off or mute because it's nothing but negative slander. Why not take the opportunity to tell me why you should be elected instead ?

You just answered your own question! She has no strengths! Once the democrats see that clearly, she has no shot. Now, her only chance is to make the party believe she is the lesser of two evils.
Hillary needs to keep the spotlight off her past actions as much as possible, lest she end up in another criminal investigation. With skeletons like Vince Foster in her closet, she needs to be very careful about what kind of digging goes on into her past.
Both Hillary and Obama have to gloss over their 'strengths.' Close examination of them tends to indicate that those strengths are pretty weak.

Ann Coulter is right, Democrats don't have brains. Majority of you are bashing Hillary, and I don't think that the Hillary supporters like it, if they vote for McCain in the general election, I'll laugh at you guys so hard I'll cry.

In addition, that's what the Clintons do best - smear other candidates. They are very well practiced in this.
Basically, that's all she's got. Her only experience come from being a backseat driver while Bill was in office.
She's weak exactly where she's attacking Obama, an old political ploy. On foreign policy: she went on mostly cosmetic diplomatic missions during the Clinton years. On defense: she approved a misguided policy in Iraq again and again. On terrorism: she sounds like Bush who despite all his saber-rattling has failed to capture binLaden and the leaders of Al Qaeda in Iraq. So she's on the offensive pre-emptively.
Because that is the nature of politics. Everyone runs a smear campaign regardless of how qualified they are. Surely this is not the first campaign you have followed. Every election is filled with negative ads for the opponents and speeches that give laundry lists of their shortcomings.
