Are their any people who are voting for McCain but disappointed by his decision to suspend his campaign?

A lot of people say his was trying to beat Obama to the punch by looking presidential but it backfired. Are their any people who are voting for McCain but disappointed by his decision to suspend his campaign?
He is suspending the campaign to avoid talking about Palin!!

If McCain gets elected and dies Palin becomes president!!

She has wanted to break up the Union by giving Alaska it's independence.

She wants to breach the constitution by forcing creation and religion into schools and government.

She has banned a long long list of books from the library on religious grounds.

She is being investigated for using her position to attack and sack an ex family member and tellingly those around her are refusing to give evidence! Now surely if they could give evidence that cleared her they would want to do so!!!

So what if she gets into power? Constitution torn up? Union broken up? Burning books? Banning free speech? Using her position for personal reasons? Recognize the description of a third world dictator yet?

If there is even a slight chance of her gaining power then be afraid BE VERY AFRAID!!!

Are their any people who are voting for McCain but disappointed by his decision to suspend his campaign?
I am not disappointed. This is the most important vote in the Senate right now. It will have a major impact on Americas economy as well as the world economy. Both of these candidates are Senators and the de facto leaders of their parties. A dopey foreign policy debate can wait. This is where the most important decision that the new President and America will have to live with for years is being made. We need all hands on deck.

As much as Obama was hoping he would not have to take a stand on the issue one way or the other, he really should. I just hope he does not show up and vote ';Present'; again.

Obama, McCain and Biden are all still Senators. They could have quit the Senate to run but they chose not to, well then, they should be manning their seats in the Senate for this super important vote.

What harm would it be to postpone the debate a few days, anyway?

I am proud of him for doing as he has.. and I really don't care what a lot of back biters think. It is only frustrated Democrats that try to make it something it isn't.

They do not understand someone who actually puts his country before his ow political aspirations. Obama is just in this for the win.. that 's all that matters to him

He wants the spotlight on him and only him all the time. He has done nothing for this country so far.. and is not liable to ever do anything for it., He is running true to form.
I'm glad McCain has the guts to put this country first. He's put a lot into this campaign personally. He put it on hold because of his country.

Meanwhile, obama was waiting for a phone call saying he was needed in washington.........and it took the president to make the call to get him back to his JOB! Obama is all about himself......he could care less we have a crisis going on...... he hates it is interferring in his personal plans. Poor thing!
it did not backfire he is doing the job he has been elected to do by the people of arizona...this is what obama should be doing for the people of illinios....
If he'll pay the University of Mississippi back the $5.5 million they spent on this debate I don't mind. Also, he ought to apologize to all the people who worked to put the thing on.
I am voting McCain but I am really upset that he isn't debating on Friday. I want America to show the world we are strong and can handle any problem. McCain backing out seems weak :(
to me it didn't backfire..he is concerned about the economy and what is happening with all those banks..he put his run for the white house on hold to help his country and countrymen
It did NOT backfire! He put country before his campaign and he deserves praise for this. Why in hell isn't Obama going to DC to help out?
It ain't over til it's over.
Sorry... it has not backfired! He puts his country first. Always has %26amp; always will!
