Do candidates have to account for the way they spend campaign contributions?

Is there a website that shows how each campaign spends the money that was donated?Do candidates have to account for the way they spend campaign contributions?
We should and could do what needs to be done make these so called canidates do what is right. And we do not. They get away with the proverbial murder. And at the citizens expense. They get to Washington and are very happy and spend what they feel like spending. We should kick them out before we elect them and make them count every penny they get. But we do not.Do candidates have to account for the way they spend campaign contributions?
Yes, they have to do background checks on large contributions to make sure they do not take corrupt money, and they have to account for how they spend that money---they cannot use a dime for personal things--that's how they got Kerry---a billionaire who took campaign money to pay for a hair cut....so yes, they have to account for it in detail....
Sure they do but not so publicly as you desire! Maybe there could be a PEI (Poll Expense Index) in the Wall Street!
I don't think that they have to, but they surely should be required to do so. After all, it really is not their money.
