Do you think John McCains old age has gone against him in his campaign for president?

I think McCain ran for president 20 years to late. And no, I am not putting him down, just stating a fact.Do you think John McCains old age has gone against him in his campaign for president?
Hi! I am a McCain supporter. I lived through the sixties and seventies and remember his heroism. Yes, I do think his age has gone against him. It's too bad that in America we see age as a sad thing, where if he was in other countries, his age would show wisdom. I've been through many presidents and realize that no one can be the perfect person that will change everything to what we want. We Americans want too much. We don't look at all the good things.--We haven't been attacked since Bush took his assertive approach to war--and we all wanted it back then. We have more food than other nations, more luxuries, bottled water, cars, etc. We are so ungrateful--we keep wanting more. Whoever wins the presidency will also be mocked, loved, hated and we'll still want more. We need a good spanking! Do you think John McCains old age has gone against him in his campaign for president?
Not so much his age, but his age in connection with his health and his pick for VP.

If he was seventy-whatever and the epitome of health, it wouldn't matter much.

If he was in the same situation but had picked a responsible, reasonable VP it wouldn't matter much.

A seventy-something man who is obviously still suffering from the effects of his POW torture who is in remission from cancer for the third (I think) time who picked a first-term governor with the experience of seeing Russia from her house...well, it's a great package, don't you think?
i think Obama rules %26amp; mcCain drools
