Remember during the Town Hall meeting at Rick Warren's church or was it during one of the debates where both candidates were asked about which Justices should not have been selected.?


Obama said Roberts was one of them.

If I were Obama, I would have razzed him in front of 2 billion people watching worldwide and made him look like the CHUMP he was.

Oh yes, The conspiracy theory again, It was not intentional. You can clearly hear and see Obama jump the gun and start to repeat before the Justice was finished which in turn messed them both up. I am so surprised and shocked by all the ';cult'; like behavior people are displaying regarding Obama.
I would like to think that the Supreme Court Justice is a little more professional than that. Look at all the nastiness that Hillary and McCain threw out during the campaign. She's now the Secretary of State and Obama hosted a dinner to honor McCain. Things are said and most are professional enough to ignore them and move on.
More likely it was just an honest mistake. He probably should have used a notecard, but hindsight is 20/20. Whether he just flubbed it because of ';stage fright'; or Obama's jumping the gun tripped him up, the odds that either of them would intentionaly try to make themselves or each other look foolish while the whole world is watching are remote at best.
Actually, we all make mistakes.





I just wish the opposing parties HERE had once eighth as much class as Obama and Roberts did shaking hands and wishing each other good luck and good day.
The only thing I have against CJ Roberts is the fact that he has resorted to that lame ';comb over'; to attempt to cover his bald spot. :-) Come on Bob...either ';face the glare'; or get a good rug.
Roberts mistake made Roberts look like a fool! Especially since he had to swear Obama in again because of his mistake.

He went over to the White House and swore him in again even though by the US Constitution the presidency changes at noon, oath or not.





And Roberts was unqualified to be the Chief Justice!
Nope. The Chief Justice is above such childish antics. Those things are done only in Congress and in the media.
No. I'm sure both Obama and Roberts were very embarrassed to have flubbed the oath.
