Am I the only one that cares that Obama is reneging on his campaign promises?

If history has taught us anything, it's that politicians tell us what we want to hear to get votes. The term, ';dishonest politician'; is redundant. Why? Obama promised/bribed us with a windfall profit tax on the oil companies. Great idea! Why did he back out of it as soon as he was elected? He has flip-flopped just as many times as McCain! Once a politician lies, I think that should make him/her ineligible to be our president.Am I the only one that cares that Obama is reneging on his campaign promises?
I never believed any of his promises. Hence the reason, for the first time in my life (well, since I'd been eligible to vote anyway) I didn't vote democrat. I did not see a lesser of two evils. I saw Obama as a wolf in sheeps clothing from the get-go.Am I the only one that cares that Obama is reneging on his campaign promises?
because most of the people that voted for him did so out of the hope he would pay their bills. For them, he can do whatever he wants so long as he doesn't break that promise.





I know it is early in his term but damn he sure has lied so many times already (not misspoken or misinterpreted, but flat out lies).
Anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.

He promised Change...what did you think he meant? I understood it pretty well, which is why I voted for McCain.
That would only leave Mother Teresa to run, and shes dead.





Would you mind waiting a bit before pouncing on Obama, its kind of silly when the guy is only in office a month. If he had done something or ignored an national tragedy it would be different, but asking or thinking that all his promises or hopes or plans be immediately passed or even discussed is pointless. He has had to prioritized and with oil prices having fallen, and the economy still tanking, windfall profits isn't high on the Congressional list.
