They should be careful because I suspect that this young lady is going to be a very prominent person in future politics. In exercising her right to free speech, she was a mite harsh in her response to a question about her parent's work, regarding an exposed marital problem. I think it caught her off-guard, and we all, at times, wish we had re-phrased something! I do admire her inherited intellect, and otherwise, she has been very respectful to everyone. But no one should EVER have to answer questions about their parents' sex lives. But I didn't realive the conservitive ';right wing conspiracy'; group had gotten together to launch a formal campaign. An individual did ask her about her fathers infidelity, which she blew off, unlike her mother who if she had been doing the blowing off, their would not have been a coment to blow off. Well that sounded better in my head than on screen, anyway, politics is a ruff and tumble area to dabble in, and if you don't want mud splattered on you, put down the mic, get off the stage, and go back to your cushy job.

Chelsea is playing in the big leagues now. She should be prepared for as such. You don't run on the field on game day without having practiced at all, do you? The bottom line is, our society is very real and she should expect real questions from real people. The integrity of her mom was not what was in question here. (which is why I feel she got so defensive) However... her father's GLOBAL sex scandal and how that would affect her mother's current campaign, was questioned. And in my opinion, a valid and reasonable question. It's not as if she was asked about any details of the affair, or how she or her mother feels about it. If she didn't know what to say, I feel it would have been more tactful to simply say ';That's a question you'd have to ask her.'; and taken the high road.
