Why is MSNBC so obsessed with the Obama campaign winning?

I have never in my entire life seen or heard a major network broadcasting or newspaper so in love with a political candidate. Everyone, with a possible exception of Pat Buchanan is obsessed with his winning. I am a democrat; but even the Fox Network has more fair and balanced reporting.Why is MSNBC so obsessed with the Obama campaign winning?
My husband has taken to calling them ';MSNB-C us kiss Obama's azz.'; It's true. I've been watching MSNBC for five years now, and used to be a huge fan of Matthews, TIVOing his show every day and watching them when I could catch up. Not anymore. I don't mind watching a show where the host criticizes my candidate (Clinton). That's neither here nor there, it's going to happen and I want to hear what's being said. But Matthews has gotten to the point where he can't even say her name without a sneer in his voice, and that's too much for me. My Mom is sitting here as I write listening to his show and I about gagged because he's showing a clip of Obama and Michelle while Obama is making yet another statement about Wright. Chris says (like he's about to burst into tears) ';Oh, Michelle looks so sad.'; Oh brother.





Funny, because the only two analysts or pundits on this network who aren't obviously biased toward Obama are two Republicans - Pat Buchanan and Joe Scarborough.Why is MSNBC so obsessed with the Obama campaign winning?

MSNBC has made itself into liberal news agency. They canned most of the conservative types on there. Obama is the most liberal of the three candidates so .. Plus the added prospect of ';a first black president' is good tv. yeah?





Pat Buchanan is only on there because he's anti-war and against most of the Republicans, especially guys like McCain.
They want to sell you obama like they sold you bush. They are urging people to vote against their own interests. Obama is more like bush than hillary is and he said bush shouldn't be impeached! He also says like bush that big business can self regulate. The media is looking for gullible people and pimping candidates with simple messages and no record of helping the middle class. They'll be pushing McCain down your throat soon too because he's even closer to bush big business and big war policies.
Olberman would have a shot at being first lady.





I agree, it's really sad when so called journalist are so obvious. I expect to see an ';Obama 08'; in the bottom of the screen.





The latest: Oberman said Michelle just had one of the ';most brilliant'; answers ever. He also said Obams is ';a man of the people';
You are absolutely right. The same is true for CNN. It is disgusting. Jack Cafferty ( I have a better name for him ) constantly, says rude remarks about Hillary and the rest of them (Wolf Blitzer, for example) on CNN listen and thank him.





I have no idea what is their objective. The only thing I can say is that they are EVIL.

Because they think ';Oooooh! Wow! A minority winning!'; Who cares what minority a person is. The question is will he or she be a good leader for this country.
I think that Matthews has a picture of Obama that he takes under his covers with him at night along with a flashlight.
