Because Obama at least announced what he was doing next, so there was logic behind his move. Palin just announced she's leaving and walked off the basketball court, destination unknown. If she doesn't have something else to be doing immediately, she ought to finish out her term as governor.
The corrupt powers behind the fascist democrat movement fear her and so will defame her at EVERY opportunity.

The election isn't until 2012. Palin could finish her term in Dec 2010, a year before the primaries. She doesn't want to be governor anymore and ran away. Deal with it.

Because the press automatically vilifies Palin. That said, while I do think that she has been unfairly attacked in the press to a certain extent, but she can't blame ALL of her woes on the media. A Democrat with the same lack of understanding of world affairs, domestic policy and the role of government would also be fodder for the pundits, SNL, etc.
Another lie from the Right. None of the 3 senators quit to run. McCain, however, stopped showing up for work in APRIL... Clinton and Obama did not.
