If I'm sending out a postcard campaign, what is the best way to make sure the receptionist doesn't throw it away? I need to make sure the postcard gets to the decision maker of the company. If I'm sending out a postcard campaign, what is the best way to make sure the recep. doesn't throw it away?
First it will have to look HIGHLY professional...people can tell when you created a mailpiece in word or publisher. If it looks homemade it goes in the trash. The value of the entire thing is based solely on how it looks in that first split second. If it looks highly professional it is assumed that anything it has to offer is of the same high quality or value.
Make sure you've got an offer that is insane....not just a ';good'; offer...people don't care enough to act right now unless its just a jaw dropping deal. Remember...you aren't trying to make a sale...you are trying to create a customer...a customer that will have repeat business for you year after year..and that is tones of money. The next steps in that relationship will not happen unless this first one does....so pull out all the stops and just go insane with it.If I'm sending out a postcard campaign, what is the best way to make sure the recep. doesn't throw it away?
Have it professionally made, and have it printed cheap.
I work at a club and we print full color flyers on a weekly basis for much less
